Daniel Hom and Vivian Zhang introduced two leading tools for analyzing and visualizing your data: R, and Tableau. And with Tableau’s upcoming integration with R, the two have never made a more powerful combination. They showed how with the two together, you could easily explore your data, present dashboards of your models and allow viewers to interact with your scripts.

Speakers:

Daniel Hom is a former Tableau data analyst and now is a specialist on the product marketing team. Dan regularly presents about Tableau and different ways to analyze different kinds of data (including social media, sales, marketing and product analytics).

Vivian Zhang is CTO of SupStat Inc. which is a data mining consulting firm which is based in New York, Shanghai and Beijing. She teaches R workshops very often.
