Become familiar with publicly available New York energy data.

Lucas Finco is Manager of Analytics at Energy Efficiency and Demand Management Dept of the Con Edison Company of New York, Inc.

Outline:

1. Access NYISO available data on the NYS energy grid

2. Build a model of ConEd rates

3. Access the NYS DPS DMM database for information on NYS changes to rates and System Benefit Charge programs

Preparation:

A spreadsheet program like Excel and an internet connection.
