Ramnath Vaidyanathan, Advisory Data Scientist, and our rCharts/Slidfy/Shiny Instructor. Dr. Vaidyanathan is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at McGill University.  He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Wharton School of UP, and worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company before advising SupStat. He has great passion for R and has developed two R packages, Slidify and rCharts, both aiming at simplifying the creation and sharing of interactive web-based content with R.

Outline:

In order to digest intensive learning expereince from R workshop II: Data to Interactive Reports, Ramnath scheduled 5 hack sessions to follow up with certain resources and progress of hacking. Through those sessions, people would help each other to make each example work on our own laptops.

All the hack sessions were arranged on Thursday night 6:30-9pm.The first session was about Citi Bike Sharing example.
