NYC Data Science April 2017 Hiring Partner Event

Hiring Managers and Alumni

Data Science graduates, hiring managers and alumni gathered on April 5th, 2017 to mingle amidst food and drinks.

Representatives from Google, IBM, Societe Generale, Conde Nast, MindShare, J.Crew, Merkle, JobRobin, Envisagenics, iHeartRadio, Blue State Digital, Carto, Celmatix, Selective Insurance, Work Market, 2U and many more were able to meet the eighth cohort from NYDSA's Data Science Bootcamp.

Alumnis, Linlin Cheng (2U) and Gary Ng (RocketMiles), from past bootcamp and course were also present, looking to evaluate the newest graduates as well.

Within three hours, business cards were exchanged, interviews were arranged and projects were demonstrated.  These projects can also be viewed among our student blog pages on this site as well.

We host the hiring partner/student party every quarter, around the middle of Jan, April, July and Oct.

A whiz at translating abstruse concepts to easily understood terms, he entered the field of data science around the year end of 2016 and now joined NYC Data Science Academy as a Student Success Officer.
