Amit has 12 years of experience working with data, designing and implementing mission critical enterprise data solution for Retail, Healthcare, Finance and Pharmaceutical. Most recent experience involves implementing end to end data solution for Oakley from ground up. With his Big Data experience he was able to create a platform for OMNICHANNEL initiative at Oakley and was able to provide a unified solution for all analytics needs. In bootcamp, he built a Shiny app to do time series analysis and scraped stock tweets to come up with sentiment indicator. For his capstone project he used Airbnb data to determine the next vacation spot for users using XGBoost, GBM, Random Forest and utilizing stacking approach.
