Ziqiao (Cheryl) Liu recently received a PhD degree from University of Denver with major in Electrical Engineering. She was a research assistant for a wind power plant prediction project with University of Denver and National Renewable Energy Lab, where she developed a prediction model for estimating wind power generation and getting to know about data science. She is an analytical and critical thinker with research experience in using large, complex datasets from data collection, feature extraction and selection to model development, interpretation and visualization by using advanced data analytic skills and machine learning algorithms. She is now focusing on improving her hands on data science skills and gaining more experience in translating real world problem into data, designing and developing solutions. She is now looking for a position in industry.
